When the product can’t be in the room
Slides and brochures ask people to imagine. That works until the subject is a turbine, a production line, a facility, or a system that only makes sense in motion. Mixed reality removes the imagining.
It’s too large to ship
Heavy equipment, vehicles, machinery, and full facilities can be explored at true scale without a freight budget.
It doesn’t exist yet
Concepts, prototypes, and proposed builds can be demonstrated before a single part is manufactured.
It can’t be shown safely
Hazardous processes and live environments can be walked through with no risk and no shutdown.
What I build
The right format depends on the audience and the room — not on which technology is currently fashionable.
Augmented Reality
Product visualization placed in the customer’s own space, at real scale, on a phone, tablet, or headset. Useful on a sales floor, at a job site, or in a booth.
Virtual Reality
Guided demonstrations and training in environments that would be impractical, expensive, or unsafe to reproduce. Built for repeatable use by non-technical users.
Mixed Reality
Digital content anchored to real objects and rooms, for briefing centers, showrooms, and permanent exhibits where the physical space is part of the story.
How I approach an XR project
Most immersive projects fail on scope, not on technology. The fastest way to spend a budget with nothing to show is to build the wrong thing well.
Discovery
Who is the audience, what do they need to understand, and what does success actually look like?
Feasibility
Hardware, environment, lighting, network, and budget assessed before anyone commits to an approach.
Prototype
The smallest build that proves the core interaction works with real users in the real room.
Production
Full build, deployment, hardware setup, and support for a live environment.
Why me
A decade of interactive development
Software engineering, immersive media, and technical leadership across real production work.
Built for live environments
Applications delivered for trade shows, executive briefing centers, and permanent exhibits — not demo reels.
Direct founder involvement
I scope the project, lead the technical decisions, and stay accountable through deployment.
Where these projects get built
Production XR work runs through Grey State Development, my immersive marketing and interactive technology company. If you are planning an exhibit, an immersive application, or a real-time experience, that is the team that delivers it — and I stay on as strategist and technical lead.

Let’s scope your project
Tell me what you are trying to show, and who needs to understand it. I will tell you whether mixed reality is the right tool for it — and if it is not, I will tell you that too.
